November 2011
As you all know the Montessori Education focuses on the child becoming independent. And that is why we would like to ask you to encourage your children to put on their own clothes and shoes, clean up after finishing their meals, putting away their toys etc…This will help them to be more self-confident and self-reliant, as we continue building the bridge from school to home. We have introduced new Practical Life jobs and if you think of more please bring them in
Virtue of the month: COOPERATION
During circle time children do activities to show how important cooperation is within the classroom. How we all need to work as a team to help our school move forward.
Thanksgiving is coming up we will have our third annual “Children’s Luncheon” on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011. Children will set the tablecloths, places, flower arrange and prepare the classroom. We are excited to see how it goes!
