The Child who has felt a strong love for his surroundings and for all living creatures, who has discovered joy and enthusiasm in work, gives us reason to hope... hope for peace in the future.

May 2011

This month began with preparing for our Mother’s Day Party on May 6th. Children have been painting, drawing and designing cards. We ordered new Montessori materials and have enjoyed working with the children as they learn how to work with them. We would like to welcome Ezri to our classroom ~ we are happy you are in our school! Last month we ordered caterpillars and have been watching their live cycle, right now they are cocoons and we are anticipating their next stage! As the weather is getting warmer we have started using our spray hose in the afternoons to cool down the children as well as teachers.
